Once an order is received for an item and funds have cleared, you can expect your item to ship from our warehouse within 1-2 business days for most of the items we sell. The Eventuri Black Carbon Intake System for the Chevrolet C8 Corvette Z06 Coupe represents a ground-up reengineering of the factory intake architecture, developed specifically for the high-revving LT6 engine. Free from the packaging limitations of the OEM trunk panel, Eventuri engineered a system that dramatically increases intake volume while optimizing airflow efficiency, thermal stability, and engine response.
The factory airbox design, originally derived from the LT3 Stingray platform, is inherently constrained in both size and geometry. As airflow demand rises through the mid-range and upper RPM band, the OEM system can become restrictive. Eventuri addresses this by introducing an organically shaped carbon fiber intake layout paired with their patented Venturi housing technology, creating a smoother, less restrictive path for incoming air while maintaining high velocity toward the engine.
The result is a substantial performance improvement across the entire rev range, with measured gains of approximately 19 wheel horsepower and 18 ft-lb of torque at peak, and up to 42 wheel horsepower and 44 ft-lb through the mid-range where the LT6 benefits most. Throttle response is sharpened, and the engine is able to breathe more efficiently under load.
A defining feature of this system is the replacement clear polycarbonate trunk panel, which showcases the carbon intake when opened while continuing to support proper heat management. The exposed carbon construction highlights the engineering behind the system and adds a visual statement appropriate for the Z06 platform.
