Once an order is received for an item and funds have cleared, you can expect your item to ship from our warehouse within 1-2 business days for most of the items we sell. Items will be packaged safely and correctly to prevent any type of damage that can occur during the shipping process. Once your item has been shipped you will receive a confirmation notification of your incoming package including all tracking information. Our packages will be shipped via USPS or UPS Ground or FedEx. For larger items we require them be shipped via UPS Ground or FedEx.
*** Due to the nature of some of the items we sell, some items will take longer to fulfill and deliver. No need to worry, we will let you know if your particular item will take a little more time. This includes orders such as (WHEELS, BODY KITS, and SPECIAL ORDERS, ETC.) which usually take longer than 3-5 days to fulfill. The MMX Billet Air Conditioning Caps are designed to replace the factory-fitted plastic AC caps found on BMW and MINI models, offering a durable, refined alternative to a commonly overlooked weak point in the engine bay.
Over time, OEM plastic AC caps can become brittle due to heat cycles, age, and repeated removal. This can lead to cracking, poor sealing, and an untidy appearance. MMX billet caps eliminate these issues with a long-lasting aluminum solution that improves both function and aesthetics.
Each cap is CNC-machined from high-quality 6061-T6 aluminum, finished in anodized black, and hand-polished to match the MMX billet aluminum engine bay range. A subtle engraved MMX “X” logo provides a clean OEM+ detail.
MMX offers direct replacements for both OEM AC cap types, ensuring compatibility across BMW and MINI platforms, including older R134A systems using black OEM caps and newer R1234YF systems using grey OEM caps (circa 2017+).
Designed as true OEM replacements, the caps are pre-sealed and install in seconds with no modification required. They are fully reversible and can be removed or returned to stock just as easily. No AC system re-gas is required at any stage, simply remove the factory caps and install the MMX billet versions.
